Class 3/4KC - Immersive Day - 01.05.19

3/4KC kicked off their new topic 'Pollinators' today.  The day started with 'free writing' where they listened to some music and wrote stories based on how the music made them feel.  They then experienced a honey tasting session.  Miss C was super impressed by those children who were able to correctly identify each type of honey based on the short description given! After lunch the children made some bee hive cells and started to learn about tessellating shapes.  The day then ended with learning some new vocabulary linked to the new topic.  A good day had by all!

St Fagans Visit 12.02.19

Class 3/4KC took a step back in time on Tuesday and learned what it was like to be a Victorian child.  They all thoroughly enjoyed their trip to St Fagans, however, I'm pretty sure they don't want to bump into Mrs Edwards any time soon!

Congratulations to Class 3-4KC for best attendance this week ending 25th January 2019. They will look after Ted the Attendance Teddy next week.

Congratulations to 3/4KC for being the attendance class winners for week ending 21st December 2018 with 97.88% overall. Well done! They will look after Ted our Attendance Teddy after the Christmas break.

Freshwater West Visit - Tuesday 13th November 2018.

Class 3/4KC visited the picturesque Freshwater West on Tuesday as part of their topic; 'Project Ocean Protection.'  They drew sketch maps of the area, logged the weather, learned all about currents, waves and tides and took part in a litter pick.  During the litter pick, the children stumbled across some interesting pieces that had been brought in by the tide all the way from Canada!  A great day was had by all and a special thanks goes out to the Darwin Centre! 😊

New Creative Project

3/4KC welcomed Rosie Hazell, our Creative Agent, into their classroom today!  The children are embarking on an exciting project and today they worked super hard in cultivating some amazing ideas.  The project will begin in the Spring term but the children are having the opportunity to direct the project and get involved in the planning stages 😊

New Creative Project

I would like to thank the parents of 3/4KC for the overwhelming contributions. We are all so looking forward to our Maths morning tomorrow and having the opportunity to bake some delicious items for our Macmillan event this Friday. Thank you all so much for your continued support, Miss C.
